Dr Saji P O Thomas (Dr SPOT)
Dr Saji P O Thomas is a medical graduate from M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. After completing his medical graduation he went on to do his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery from Karnatak Medical College,Hubli. Having completed his MS Orth in 1994 he worked at Kovai Medical Center (KMCH), Coimbatore under Dr S. Venkat for training in Joint Replacement Surgery, a then upcoming sub speciality in orthopaedics. He then went to the United Kingdom to pursue his MCh Orthopedics from the University of Dundee, Scotland which he completed in 1997. He is one among the earliest MCh Orthopaedic surgeons to be trained at Dundee Royal Infirmary under the renowned Prof. David Rowely.

Experience
Dr Saji has over 25 years of experience in Orthopedics. He has been the Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Century Hospital, were he worked for 6 years. He then joined Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre, Angamaly as Senior Consultant & Head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology for 14 year. He is a postgraduate teacher and thesis guide for Diplomat of National Board in Orthopedics. In 2020 he joined Welcare Hospital Vyttila were he held the position of Medical Superintendent & HOD Orthopaedics.
Dr Saji has special interest in Complex & Polytrauma, Joint Replacement & Pelvi- Acetabular Trauma. He one of the founding members of Pelvi Acetabular Surgeons of Kerala (PASK). He is a AO faculty and has been a faculty to many CMEs & conferences in the field of orthopaedics. At present Dr Saji P O Thomas is the Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Department of Orthopaedics at M.A.J Hospital, Edappally, Kochi, Ernakulam & K.G Hospital Angamaly.
